The D width (wide fit) women's New Balance 1080v13 is a neutral everydayroad running shoe with a focus on comfort, harnessing Fresh Foam X technology for an incredibly plush feel straight out of the box. There's now a modest 6mm heel to forefoot drop, as compared to the 8mm of its predecessor (the 1080v12) and importantly,the addition of a rocker, designed to accelerate your gait cycle from the foot landing to toe-off. Themidsole in this latest version has been crafted to enhance cushioning in key areas while maintaining flexibility where it's necessary. The stretchy, comfortable upper should feel secure, yet move and remains highly breathable.
